$30 Women’s Health Exams in Nashville This Saturday
For the past week or so, I’ve passed by the “Franklin Road Women’s Health Center” and idly wondered, “Who is that? What will that be?” Now I know the answer – it’s another community clinic in Nashville from University Community Health Services in conjunction with Vanderbilt University* School of Nursing.
This Saturday (January 16, 2010, 8am-4pm), the Center will offer $30 women’s health exams (including pap tests) as part of its Women’s Health Day.
The announcement also indicates that:
Copays are due at the time of service. TennCare customers will have exam and lab fees covered. Insured women will have the costs billed to insurance. Some women age 40-64 may qualify for a free exam and Pap Test under certain federal guidelines.
The clinic is located at 2410 Franklin Road and folks are encouraged to call (615) 932-7633 to reserve an appointment time.
*Reminder/disclosure: Vanderbilt is my larger workplace, although I am not involved with this clinic or the event, and this blog is not at all affiliated with or endorsed by and does not speak for my workplace.
