ACOG’s Opinion on the Ethics of Surrogacy

In a new post at Our Bodies Our Blog, I sum up some key points from The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists’ new ethics committee statement on surrogate motherhood, with a link to the full text. There are some interesting bits in the statement that touch on physician refusal, privacy, convenience vs. medical necessity, and other broad reproductive rights concerns.
