Shameless Bloggy Begging

Posted by Rachel on December 18, 2007

Two things:

Nominations are now being taken (until Dec 31) at Medgadget for their 2007 Medical Weblog Awards. The categories aren’t a perfect match for what I do here, but wouldn’t you like to nominate me in the comments anyway? :)

Nominations and voting are now open for the 2008 Blogger’s Choice Awards as well. You can vote for Women’s Health News here.

PS-Dear Medgadget: Can we get more categories next year? For example, best consumer health blog (patient’s blog is not the same thing), or maybe more specified categories (physician, nurse, medlib, by topic/area of medicine, etc.)? Because the medical blogosphere is growing all the time, and I think 7 categories can no longer contain it. However, I’m a librarian, and am somewhat obsessed with categories. :)
